Cena d'Estate Italiana
This week we travel to Italy with a light summer menu inspired by simple ingredients and the joy of sharing good food around the table.
Starters
- Tuscan Panzanella Salad
A classic Italian summer salad made with toasted rustic bread, ripe tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, fresh basil, and a simple olive oil vinaigrette. Serve slightly chilled as a refreshing starter before pasta dishes.
Main Courses
- Homemade Tagliatelle with Zucchini & Mint
Fresh handmade pasta with sautéed zucchini, cream and fresh mint — light, fragrant and full of spring character.
Desserts
- Orange & Vanilla Bread Pudding
A rich and comforting bread pudding infused with orange zest, vanilla, cream, and rum-soaked raisins. Served with a warm vanilla cream sauce. The orange zest and vanilla give the pudding a flavour reminiscent of panettone rather than leftover bread.
